Philosophy of Education

Dunseith Day School staff recognize the significant barriers our students face before they walk into the school doors each day. Our staff believes that we will empower them despite these barriers, inspiring them to persevere. Dunseith Day School staff believe every child can learn and continuously search for ways to reach them through establishing relationships, protecting and providing security, and educating them so that each child transforms into an adult with options and is in control of his or her destiny.

Dunseith Day School students know that they are safe and loved when they enter our building. Each student has a unique and special story and depends on our staff to listen and support them through each trial and tribulation. Children are very honest, and our students do not hesitate to share their feelings.
